Topic: Almost Everything You Wanted to Know about Chimpanzees But Didn't Know Who to Ask!
Guest Speaker Susan Shiau (one of our members!) will give us a "Chimposium" ( = chimpanzee + symposium)
You'll learn about:
--The Chipmanzee and Human Communication Institute
--Chimpanzees that can use Sign Language
--Threats to Chimpanzees
Susan has not one, but TWO Master's degrees...and her 2nd one involved research about Chimpanzees and Sign Language. This session is a great opportunity to learn about a special, interesting topic from a special, interesting person!
