Topic: Taiwanese NGOs--Where should we donate our money this time?

We have collected about 10,000 NT in donations over the last several months, so it's time to decide where to donate our hard-earned money! You're invited to do a short presentation about a Taiwanese NGO or charity that you like and want to support. In your presentation, please include:

--the NGO's name
--its main purpose
--how you know about it
--why you like it
--how it would spend any money we donate to it (if you can find this out)

So I can plan the session, could you please reply to this email by Thursday 9 Dec, 12 noon to let me know:
a) if you plan to attend
b) if you want to do a short presentation.

Thanks!

:) Lynn

P.S. We'll also learn about our new Blog from our very own Google Guru, Ellen. She'll let us know Everything You Want to Know About our Blog but are Too Afraid to Ask!

Let's Go!! Caroline's concert_20101212

Date: Sunday 12 December at 19:30

Dear Good People,

Some of you may know that I love chorus music and have been a chorus member for years. Now the chorus is going to have a year end concert on next Sunday and I would like to invite you to come if you are interested in such kind of events. There will be classics and some folk/popular songs from Hakka, Japan, Russia Slovakia, China and so on. Most lyrics will be translated into Chinese so you don't need to worry if you can't understand what it is about!

It is free for entry but ticket is required. If you or your friends want to come, please let me know how many tickets you need and I will bring them to you when we meet on 11 December.

Further details as below (chinese only, sorry)
